Day 1: Amman Airport
– Amman Hotel (B)
Upon arrival to Queen
Alia Airport our
representative will meet
and assist you through
the customs and
immigration procedures.
Transfer to the hotel in
Amman for overnight.
Day 2: Amman City
Tour – Jerash – Amman
Hotel (B)
Breakfast, then start
the day with a city tour
in Amman. Visit the
Amphitheater and the
Jordan Folklore Museum
and the Citadel. From
here we drive in the
north of Jordan to
Jerash, the best example
of a Roman provincial
city in the whole Middle
East. We visit the
spectacular Forum, Roman
colonnaded street, the
Nymphaeum and Artemis
Temple. Back to hotel in
Amman for overnight.
Day 3: Desert Castles
– Dead Sea Hotel (B)
Today starts our tour to
the Desert Castles in
eastern Jordan. We visit
the UNESCO World
Heritage Site Amra
Castle with its zodiac
dome and the early
examples of Omayyad
fresco paintings.
Moreover you view the
fortress-like mysterious
Qasr Kharanah and the
black basalt
Roman/Medieval Islamic
fort at Azraq. Continue
to Dead Sea hotel, check
in. Remainder of the day
free with the
opportunity to make the
unique floating
experience at Dead Sea.
Day 4: Madaba – Mt.
Nebo – King's Way –
Kerak – Petra Hotel (B)
After breakfast we
depart to Mt. Nebo. This
is the place where Moses
gazed at the promised
land before he died and
believed to be his
burial place. You visit
the old monastery,
overlook the Jordan
Valley, Dead Sea and
parts of the Holy Land.
We proceed to Madaba, to
view the famous mosaic
6th century map of
Palestine in St.
George's church.
Afterward we drive to
Kerak along the famous
ancient biblical caravan
route the King's Way. We
have a short stop in
Wadi Al-Mujib, a great
wide valley with
magnificent geological
formation. Visit in
Kerak the famous
Crusader castle built in
1132/34 by King Baldwin
I. of Jerusalem.
Continue to Petra for
overnight.
Day 5: Petra Visit –
Petra Hotel (B)
Today visit the red rose
city Petra, the biggest
attraction of Jordan.
Petra was first
established around the
6th century B.C. by the
Nabataean Arabs, a
nomadic tribe who
settled in the area and
founded a commercial
empire. You can start
the trip on horse back
or by foot to the
canyon, the so called
Siq, and then walk to
the most beautiful
monument: the Treasury,
from here to the Street
of Facades, the Royal
Tombs and Pharaoh's
Castle. Overnight in
Petra.
Day 6: Wadi Rum jeep
tour – Aqaba Hotel (B)
In the morning we drive
1.5 hours southwards to
the protected area of
Wadi Rum, one of the
most impressing desert
landscapes in the world.
Here still Bedouins live
in a traditional way,
and by 4x4 Jeep tour you
discover canyons, sand
dunes and Nabatean rock
inscriptions. Then onto
Aqaba at the Red Sea,
where the rest of the
day is free. Overnight
in Aqaba.
Day 7: Aqaba at
leisure (B)
Breakfast and overnight
at hotel, no other
services provided. Free
day to enjoy the Red Sea
resort of Aqaba. Just
relax, explore the duty
free shopping facilities
or have fun with popular
water activities like
swimming, snorkeling or
diving. Overnight in
Aqaba.
Day 8: Aqaba Hotel –
Amman Airport (B)
Dependent from your
departure time transfer
for about 4 hours to
Amman Airport to say
farewell and board your
flight.
