Day 1: Arrival Amman
Upon arrival at Amman
Airport our
representative welcomes
you, assists you through
immigration and matches
with your driver. Then
transfer for ca. 30
minutes to your hotel in
Amman for overnight.
Day 2: Amman – Khirbet
Al Tannour – Wadi Hassa
- Kerak (B, L)
Breakfast, then we drive
southwards ca. 2 hrs in
the direction of Wadi
Hassa and visit en route
Khirbet Al Tannour, a
Nabatean Temple from the
1st century. Wadi Hassa,
once the border between
biblical Moab and Edom,
is one of the longest
canyons in Jordan and
divided into a upper and
lower part. We spend
here half day hiking
through a water stream
along lush vegetation
and hanging gardens. You
will have a picnic lunch
in this beautiful area.
Continue to Kerak for
overnight.
Day 3: Kerak - Wadi Ben
Hammad – Dana (B, L, D)
Breakfast, then we take
the opportunity to visit
the Crusader castle from
12th century with
imposant underground
halls and corridors.
After that we continue
to another popular Wadi:
Ben Hammad. The hike
takes around 4 hours,
you follow a water
stream, see hanging
gardens and small
waterfalls. Continue to
Dana village for
overnight.
Day 4: Dana – Petra (B)
Breakfast, then you
have time to get to know
the nature reserve Dana,
consisting of mountains
and valleys with rich
fauna & flora. You can
wonder around in the
terraced gardens and the
village itself, see
local handicraft and
enjoy some spectacular
views. The reserve
offers several hiking
possibilities where a
guide is necessary,
optional you can choose
one of the trails to
explore more of the
reserve. In the
afternoon we proceed to
Petra hotel for
overnight.
Day 5: Petra visit (B)
Breakfast, then start to
visit the rock city
Petra, Jordan's most
famous attraction and
one of the New Seven
Wonders. A local guide
will give you a short
introduction of this
unique place and walks
with you via the Siq, a
narrow gorge, to the
most beautiful monument,
the Treasury. From here
you explore the area by
yourself, taking you to
the Street of Facades,
the Royal Tombs or
climbing up the more
than 800 stairs to the
Monastery El Deir with
amazing views to Wadi
Araba. Overnight at
hotel.
Day 6: Petra – Wadi Rum
– Amman (B)
Breakfast, then leave
Petra and drive 1.5 hrs
to Wadi Rum, one of the
most impressing desert
landscapes in the world.
By 4x4 Jeep tour you
discover the rugged
mountains, pastell
coloured sand dunes and
Thamudic rock
inscriptions. Then we'll
journey 4 hrs to Amman
hotel.
Day 7: Departure Amman
(B)
Breakfast and dependent
from departure time
transfer to Amman
Airport to say farewell
and board your
international flight.
